Short version: your numbers stay on your device. We don't want your data.
Every calculator on stocktax.tools runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The figures you type — share counts, prices, income, tax rates — are processed on your own device and are never sent to, logged by, or stored on our servers. We could not see your numbers even if we wanted to.
There is no sign-up, login, or profile. We do not ask for your name, email or any personal information to use the calculators.
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic (such as which calculators are popular). These do not identify you personally.
This site may display ads to stay free. Third-party ad providers (such as Google AdSense) may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. You can manage ad personalization through your Google Ad Settings and your browser's cookie controls.
Pages may load resources from content delivery networks (for fonts and the KaTeX math library). These providers may receive your IP address as part of serving those files, as is normal for any website.
